Animal Pinch Pot

Service Description

In this single-session trial class, students will explore the basic techniques of claywork to create pinch pots shaped like their favorite animals! This class is perfect for both beginner and intermediate artists looking to brush up on their handbuilding skills. Students will learn about clay construction techniques like pinching and coiling, and will be encouraged to experiment to bring their clay animal creations to life! Whether you're interested in creating functional pottery or sculptural works of art, this class is a great opportunity to explore the versatile and tactile medium of clay. Grab a friend or a loved one and join us in the studio! Trial classes are BYOB and sure to be a great time. Tool kits and three 1 lb balls of clay will be provided during this session. Students can choose up to 2 pieces they make to fire. Instructors will glaze each piece with one glaze of your choice. Pieces will be available for pick up within 4 weeks following the session. Note: While we can’t guarantee the quality and success of the pieces you make in this class, instructors will do their best to guide you through the process. No matter what you make, it’s sure to be a memorable experience! Requirements: For beginners. No experience required. Age 14+

Cancelation Policy

Bookings for classes, workshops, events, and private lessons which are canceled 7 calendar days or more prior to the class or event will receive a full refund. Any cancellations received 7-3 days prior will receive a 50% refund. Any and all cancellations 2 days or less before the class/course are not eligible for a refund. Cancellations which are at least 24 hours prior to the class may transfer their booking to another applicable date or find a substitute student to take their place. If you need to cancel after the 7 day window, please contact the store. Wooten Clayworks cannot reschedule with less than 24 hours notice due to the inability to fill the space that was taken from another potential student. Please note there is a 2 student minimum for classes to run. Students will be notified the day prior if the class has to be cancelled and will receive a full refund.
