Service Description

This hands-on course is designed for beginner and experienced ceramicists alike to explore the versatile handbuilding technique of coil construction! Students will learn how to construct forms with coils of stoneware clay and how to translate their ideas into three-dimensional forms with instructor guidance. Get ready to get creative, as each student will have the option to create a couple unique vessels or sculptures depending on their interests and project complexity! Shaping forms with paddles and trimming, applying texture, and how to dry the piece will be taught in this course.
