An Introduction to Drawing
6 Week Course
Service Description
Looking to expand your artistic skills, better improve your sketching practice, or just try something new? Join us for An Introduction to Drawing! During this class, students will be shown how to use the sight-size method to visually measure what they see in life and translate it to 2D paper. They will learn about light sources, value and tone, depth and form, as well as perspective and dimension. All of these skills are useful for artists of any mediums, whether to better help you understand how to bring your 2D designs to life in the 3D, understanding forms in space, working to make surfaces more dynamic, or simply to learn how to draw! Students can expect to be walked through these concepts by drawing from still lifes set up by the instructor. The cost of this course is $300.
