Screenprinting Designs on Clay with Sam Briegel

In this one day, 8 hour workshop, students will learn how to design, expose, and utilize EZscreen for the purposes of screenprinting their own designs on clay surfaces! EZscreenprints are a commercial DIY screenprinting product that allow for an accessible, low-tech option for printing detailed designs on a variety of surfaces, including fabric, cardboard, paper, clay, etc. EZscreenprints are compatible with commercial underglaze products. This one-day workshop should function as a supplementary resource to the website and provide hands-on practice for learning this fun technique.

In this workshop, students will learn the ways that Sam uses EZscreens in her work by creating layered multi-color prints.
