Service Description
Learn how to draw the human portrait and capture the image of those you love and admire in this 4 week course! Over the span of this class, students will learn the average proportions of the human face to use in mapping out the features of specific subjects, how to form normal facial features of the face with shapes and shading, and how to identify the diversion of these standards to accurately capture their subject’s image. Students will be given a broad demo at the beginning of class and then individually assisted with their specific projects. The cost of this course is $250. Students pay an online deposit of $100 to register and have options for paying the remainder in-person. This course will include the necessary pencils and drawing tools. To Bring: -Notebook/Sketchbook and writing utensil -Mechanical/Stick erasers (this is one of the ones I use: https://www.dickblick.com/products/generals-factis-mechanical-eraser/) -Full sheet printed portrait you want to draw Ages 12+ Pay As You Go: Please note, a $100 deposit is paid when you book this course. If you do not pay the remaining $150 for the course at the first class, we do offer payment plans, however, the price per class increases to $78. In this case, the deposit amount is applied to the last 2 classes. Members may inquire about additional payment plans if necessary. We do our best to work with the community to offer them quality ceramic education and resources. Refunds are not available once the course has begun. Cancellation Policy
Bookings for classes, workshops, events, and private lessons which are canceled 7 calendar days or more prior to the class or event will receive a full refund. Any cancellations received 7-3 days prior will receive a 50% refund. Any and all cancellations 2 days or less before the class/course are not eligible for a refund. Cancellations which are at least 24 hours prior to the class may transfer their booking to another applicable date or find a substitute student to take their place. If you need to cancel after the 7 day window, please contact the store. Wooten Clayworks cannot reschedule with less than 24 hours notice due to the inability to fill the space that was taken from another potential student. Please note there is a 2 student minimum for classes to run. Students will be notified the day prior if the class has to be cancelled and will receive a full refund.
