Have you been struggling to move beyond the basics of the wheel and want to improve your throwing skills? These sessions are designed to further student's abilities on the potter's wheel, addressing foundational and intermediate skills needed to further grow in this quick intensive 2 week course. This course is designed for those who have taken intro to wheel throwing classes 1-3 times and are looking to take the next step. Intermediate students can also benefit from this course, furthering their skills as Dallas will work independently with each student, addressing ways to assist them. To Bring: Notebook/Sketchbook and writing utensil Old clothes or attire you don’t mind getting a little dirty Additional Costs: Glazing and Firing fee: $20 One half bag of clay is included in this course. Additional clay can be purchased from Wooten Clayworks if desired. Ages 16+. For ages 12-15, please send us an inquiry to see if class admittance is allowable (based on experience and total enrollment to ensure assistance can be provided.) Pay As You Go: Please note, a $100 deposit is paid when you book this course. If you do not pay the remaining $200 for the course at the first class, we do offer payment plans, however, the price per class increases to $58. In this case, the deposit amount is applied to the last 2 classes. Members may inquire about additional payment plans if necessary. We do our best to work with the community to offer them quality ceramic education and resources. Refunds are not available once the course has begun. Cancellation Policy
Bookings for classes, workshops, events, and private lessons which are canceled 7 calendar days or more prior to the class or event will receive a full refund. Any cancellations received 7-3 days prior will receive a 50% refund. Any and all cancellations 2 days or less before the class/course are not eligible for a refund. Cancellations which are at least 24 hours prior to the class may transfer their booking to another applicable date or find a substitute student to take their place. If you need to cancel after the 7 day window, please contact the store. Wooten Clayworks cannot reschedule with less than 24 hours notice due to the inability to fill the space that was taken from another potential student. Please note there is a 2 student minimum for classes to run. Students will be notified the day prior if the class has to be cancelled and will receive a full refund.
