Intro/Intermediate Wheel Throwing
Learn and expand upon the general techniques of wheel throwing, trimming, slip application, and glazing during this 6-week course! Students will be guided through the basics of wheel throwing to begin exploring their artistic visions with instructor guidance. They will explore the basic forms of the pottery wheel, such as cylinders, cups, mugs, and bowls. Simple surface decoration techniques will be covered as well.

Ceramic Accessories
This hands-on course is designed for both beginners and seasoned makers eager to explore the unique intersection of ceramics and jewelry design! Whether you're drawn to the tactile nature of clay or intrigued by the idea of wearing your own handmade accessories, this course provides the perfect opportunity to experiment with form, texture, and color on a small scale.

Pots That Pour: Throwing & Handbuilding
If you’re getting the hang of cups and bowls, you’re ready for the challenge of crafting pots that pour! In this class, students will learn how to throw and/or handbuild a variety of spouts for pitchers, batter bowls, creamers, ewers, and cruets and learn how to trim these pots on a hump of clay or using a chuck.

Ceramic Sculpture Intro & Intermediate
Let your ideas take shape by learning how to sculpt with clay in this six week, skill-building course! Students will be guided through a variety of methods on how to manipulate clay into 3D sculptures or vessels using handbuilding techniques like coil building, slab building, and pinch potting. Shaping forms with paddles and trimming, applying texture, and how to dry the piece will be taught in this course.

Thrown & Assembled Vessels
In this class, students will explore a variety of ways to throw and alter composite forms, learning creative ways to make serving vessels, baskets, vases, creative jars, flasks, and more! This is a fun and exciting class designed to expand students' ability to make larger pieces and innovative shapes beyond the round that is typically associated with the wheel. Students can expect to explore various altering, throwing, dissecting, assembling, and combining thrown or hand-built components to make exciting new forms!
